Visit the nearby Curtain Fig Tree (5 mins drive away) – known as the Atherton Tableland’s most famous tree – it is easily accessed and circled by a boardwalk, or 25 minutes away is the Cathedral Fig Tree, which you can walk inside and experience the “cathedral-like” ambience.
Further afield is the Millaa Millaa lookout and waterfalls circuit, which includes Millaa Millaa Falls, Ellinjaa Falls and Zillie Falls, and other falls in the Millaa Millaa area include Mungalli Falls, Souita Falls and Papina Falls.
Other Tableland attractions include Mt Hypipamee Crater and Dinner Falls – great picnic destinations, and the Herberton Historic Village!
